Soapopera was designed by Hamburg-based graphic and type designer Marinus Klinksik. Soapopera is an expressive all-Caps font based on contextual substitutions. Every suitable glyph has its alternative counterpart. The result is an automatically generated continuous alternation between 50-degree and 130-degree elements. This system creates a closed typeface and thus a unique visual expression.
