Taking inspiration from obscure Filipino computer terminology, Kawingan is a bitmap typeface whose namesake is the Filipino word for “hyperlink.” With the digital nature of pixels, paired with the classic flavour of serifs, it seeks to devise a link between modern technology and the Filipino heritage.
