Pexel Grotesk Regular
Pexel Grotesk was born, like most other fonts, playing around with shapes and letters. The idea behind the design was to create a good looking pixel font. On the internet, it is hard to find a pixel type with the right proportion and with a characteristic that distinguishes it from the see of pixel and block shapes.
Pexel Grotesk wants to imitate the letter dimension and proportion of a grotesque type while remaining inside its strict grid. Some of the letters are not designed as they should be in terms of a constructed as a pixel font. This helps the type to be different, but consistent at the same time. The roundness of the edges, that could sound like an oxymoron for a pixel type, gives the type an interesting shape, especially if it is used in large format.
