The font software hosted and sold on Type Department may not under any circumstances be used for hateful speech, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexist or any other violent contexts.
COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
When you access or use this site, Type Department may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. If you elect to engage in these activities, however, Type Department may ask that you provide us personal information, such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and if you purchase products we will require your credit card and or PayPal details. If you do not fill out any forms, Type Department collects nothing about you other than your browser type, location, OS type, and IP address, however, this may extend to other elements of personal information depending on your browser/device data sharing settings.
HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED
Type Department collects your information strictly for billing, licensing, and marketing purposes. If you order a product that is to be electronically downloaded, for example, the information is used to verify credit cards, issue the appropriate license receipts, and to maintain your customer history. Type Department does not share or sell the personal information collected with third parties, except in the instance where the font software owner (creator/seller) will be able to see only the name of the Licensee. This allows for both Type Department and the creators/sellers to keep track of any breach of licensing agreements.
PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The personal information that you provide is protected in several ways. In addition, your personal information resides on a secure server that only select TYPE 01 Ltd personnel. Type Department protects your credit card transaction using SSL encryption and thereby prevents unauthorised parties from viewing such information when it is being transmitted to Type Departmentnt. We do not record or keep your full credit card information after your order has been placed.
USE OF COOKIES
When you visit Type Department, you can use the site anonymously and access most information without revealing your identity. In order to enable our shopping cart, we use ‘cookies’ for automated administration purposes. Refunds & Returns
All purchases of digital downloadable products on our site are final and non-refundable unless you can solidly prove that there are technical issues stopping you from using the font software. We will try and resolve this issue within 14 days, if no solution can be found, a full refund will be provided.
