Villanelle is used for the titles of the music video for “Hills” by Le Ciel Noir. The video was directed by the talented Javier Lara, and Studio Aufheben from Murcia, Spain, designed the titles.

Villanelle is an experimental display typeface designed to feel unpredictable, unsettled and unashamedly self-obsessed. This typeface has been created with elegant curves, razor-sharp edges and plunging descenders paired with high-contrast strokes and confident, unique flair. As loveable as it is dangerous, this typeface is perfect for making bold, unapologetic statements.
