Cross is a display font designed for use in titling and large formats. It contains aesthetic references to the world of architecture and type design. The name Cross refers directly to the primary form – a cross – on which the typeface design is based.
When the typeface is used to compose words and phrases, one can see how each letter completes the outline of the next, thus creating a well-marked rhythm. Central importance is assumed by the whiteness of the spaces between the letters.
