Antonym

Antonym

Antonym revolves around the ideas of connection and contrast, emphasising the space created by intersecting multiple lines. The primary lines are thin, long, and sharp, occasionally featuring long, elegantly sweeping tails reminiscent of handwritten script styles. The expansive counter space contrasts with relatively narrow spacing, promoting a close connection between characters and a continuous flow. Ligatures further extend these connections, contrasting the right-angled flow of serifs with disconnected terminals and flowing curves.

While the typeface’s wireframe is monoline, it doesn’t maintain a uniform line thickness. Instead, it emphasizses areas where lines intersect and form clusters, creating a stark contrast between intense intersections and light lines.
